They mean time... I mean... In the mean time...

Hello dears!

How are you all? In the meantime, I haven't done that much, except for entering another competition, but this isn't over already, so please keep your fingers crossed for me! I also started writing a new story, about a character I've "known" for -several- years now. I am really looking forward to the story progressing.

I also picked up the book "Living Out Loud" by Keri Smith again... Have I ever mentioned how much I love it and how inspiring / motivating I find it? :D I might write more about this soon-ish.

I desperately hope I can start working my way through the series of telling you how to play single songs. :) I thought I might make a video for this purpose (and maybe one day, I will) but as for now, I'd rather want to start doing it in writing. It is really easy, though. (I am not lying! It was just yesterday that I figured out how to play the X-Files intro on my guitar with this "simple technique" [[God, I sound like I have a lot of spam to come!! :P]]... But it is really a technique and it IS simple. And you'll get the info... Without having to pay anything!! :P)

Have a lovely (rest of the) day, my dears!

This is my life ... :)

Those who have a certain song from the movie "Fight Club" stuck inze brrain now, I salute you.

And that said, HELLO!! :)

I figured I never really shared much more of my life with you guys, so there you go. Moments taken from my life ... Enjoy. :)

Recently, we saw ducklings in a city close to where I live. I hope you can spot them on this picture (It is a little hard, but you will eventually see them --- I hope?) :).

This is the book I am currently reading (Danny Wallace*s "Yes Man"). I love drinking tea, too, in my Barbapapa cup, because Barbapapa brings back happy memories ... =) The book*s also pretty good so far!!

Recently I cut my hair ... It was pretty long beforehand, and yes, I did that all myself. :)

Some time afterwards, I also shaved my hair. There are more steps yet to come ... As in, applying bleach + dying the hair again in brighter colours :).

By the way! Since I am a little suffering from Blogger*s Block as of now, I*d like to ask YOU : What would you like to read? Is there anything you are interested in, or that you*d love to read more about? :)

Since I really wanted to post more photos, this is some kind of attempt to do better. :) Maybe you will see more "artistically worthy of recognition" photos, but as of now, deal with the ducklings :P ... :D

Das ist kake mit dem Zumba-Zombies!! XDDD (Those getting the reference, I salute you!!)

Hello again!!

I just ordered four (!!!(!(!!!))) books (including two (!!!) manga (!!!) *slaps herself*). The manga are just from the series Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon/Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/Sailor Moon/whatever, and the books are "Find Your Happy" (by Shannon Kaiser) and "Living Out Loud" (by Keri Smith). I think both can really help me right now, because I felt / feel somewhat stuck in a rut (creatively, for example).

If anybody has an idea how to overcome this & you say it before Thursday, I salute you. (Why am I saluting everybody? ANYWAYS!!)

Last night I drew/"painted" (with felt-tips) a picture featuring zombies doing zumba. Zumba zombies are well-known for shaking back and forth a lot as well as for having a great feeling for rhythm, or at least a better feeling for rhythm than usual zombies, which means basically that their feeling for rhythm sucks. Ahem.

Here*s the picture :

And you have guessed right ("I haven*t guessed ANYTHING!!"), I listened to Lady Gaga*s "Do What U Want" ... A lot. I somehow love my zomba crowd. :D

I couldn*t scan the picture decently, so this is a photograph of it, d*uh. But I hope you will like it nevertheless and forgive me for my absence. I wuv you all!!

Papercutting? Calligraphy? Art? Music? Ohhh, the love!! :)

Recently I went to the dentist with my mum*, so we sat in the waiting room and I looked around and found some papercuttings on the walls, and now that my curiosity was awakened, I really have been thinking about ways to make them myself. This didn*t really help me, so I went to Wikihow instead and found this tutorial ... I really found the idea of using papercuts in all variations great, but I won*t tell you too much about my plans.

What I will tell you, however, is that i am totally in "construction mode" right now, which is good :). I really want to do calligraphy now, for real. I once made something calligraphy-like for my granny* for Christmas, but then again, she couldn*t read it ... I felt rather sorry then for confusing her, but that*s not the subject right now.

Also, I am currently - along with "Lost Souls" (Poppy Z. Brite) and "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon #6" (Naoko Takeuchi) - reading a book by Barbara Sher, called What Do I Do When I Want To Do Everything?, and it is very good. I followed the advice so far and really found some projects I could work on, for example, in my own room :). For example, I want to draw notes (Yes, yes, sheet-music-like!) onto the walls in the rehearsal room, and I want to make some furniture, or better said build something else out of them (Apart from the desk which I will really make myself ... With help, though ;)!), and I want to make, not a triptychon, but "one" image made of five (!) single pictures. And I want to have a corner with photographs & postcards & collages.

I need aaart~!! Also I started working on a new song on Friday. :) I hope I will be able to record it well & also to upload it.

What have you been up to? I really want to make an art journal, too, thanks go to Gala Darling & the person whose "Radical Self-Love Bible" she shared in her blog recently :). I am amazed because of this, so thanks for the inspiration!!
